I use sonicwall firewall to established a site to site VPN using another sonicwall product as the VPN endpoints.
One site is the corp office and the other is one of our employee homes.
He can access the file server on our corp using IP address, but that is not the way I want things to work.
Is it possible to do something so that when the VPN tunnel is established, and a user logon, it will load all the logon script ??
I use the logon script to update antivirus and mapped network drives.
My server is running win2k and all my clients is running winxp.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You'll need to pass netbios traffic, and it would work best if you had a BDC/AD member server/whatever at each end of the link to eliminate a lot of the traffic. At least configure the machines so that you're using a central WINS server to get rid of a bunch of broadcast traffic.

You can make it work (remember to turn on NetBios traffic in both places), but you're going to need a fairly big pipe if you've got any big files as part of the logon script...
