Site to d/l all WinXP patches

Hi all,

Is there a site that lists down all the WinXP patches to date and lets you d/l them?

That site only allows me to d/l patches via autoupdate and only if I'm running Win XP. Isn't there a site where I can save the patches and then keep them instead of installing them straight away?

There doesn't seem to be anything for XP on that page either...
only for w2k, win NT, w98, and w95.

What I found is that you should download all available updates for IE6 before you try.

Also, corporate Winblows Update is still not a great solution. For example, do a search for NVIDIA video drivers. Even for the same version of a driver, the corporate updates search returns multiple hits that appear identical. Also, when I downloaded the NVIDIA drivers, it just saves a .CAB file. Apparently, the user is expected to realize that you need to uncompress the .CAB file and then update the driver manually.

Another weakness is that it keeps a hidden catalog of previous downloads. However, if you reinstalled your OS, the catalog is gone, even if you saved the complete downloaded updates directory. It should be smart enough to inspect the updates directory and rebuild the catalog of previously downloaded updates.

Hey, don't give up. Check out this page, that gets updated with links to patches for all flavors of Windows. Instead of doing it through Windows Update, you can download it to your hard drive. Great job from 3D Spotlight...

No, Mickeysoft doesn't believe in just listing all the files and letting you download them with your favorite browser. You have to use their signed ActiveX web application. Change your security settings to "Medium".

Like I said, it's not a strong solution, but at least it's improved from the W95 days (when you couldn't even get most updates).

No I'm not. I'm at work and I'm using WinNT4. Was thinking of grabbing all the updates at work since I have a faster connection here and xfer it when I get home. Guess I won't be able to do that... Blech...

"Listed beneath are recommended updates that you should install if you have Windows XP, 2000, Millennium Edition or 98 Second Edition. Where possible linking to where the actual update can be downloaded & saved should you need to apply it at a later date, e.g. due to a re-install. This listing also covers some important OS updates which not even Windowsupdate will ever feature. Updated regularly this site will keep your Operating System up-to-date with the latest security patches & more."

Please check it out. I think it's at least part of what you're looking for.
