Is there a site out there that compares the theoretical/actual speeds of Serial ATA, Firewire 400/800, USB 1/1.1/2.0, CompactFlash, IDE? I started doing it myself but it's taking too long:disgust:
 
um, this is considered off topic.

there is no ONE site that actually does this. storagereview.com has many benchmarks of various sata and pata devices. IDE doesnt actually refer to any protocol.

there are very few sites that have measured the various speeds of flash memory.
