i am trying out different cms/portal systems and would for you all to take a quick look. the content is not original as this is in the ultra testing/learning phases. just go ahead and register so you can post or rate different items. this is a total test and the banners that are there are not for making $$$, but just so i can see how the banner system works.

thanks in advance for taking a look - best viewed at 1280x1024 (haven't figured out which skin i want to go with...)

also, please post in the forums about what you like and don't like about the system.

thanks in advance

It works for me, but I HATE e107. Hate! Hate hate hate hate hate!!!!

why? so far it is the easiest out of mambo, joomla, php-nuke and has the built in features that are very important to a site i want to creat which will be articles with the ability for users to make comments and ratings on the articles i post. i tried joomla/mambo with xtdratings but could not get it to work.

please explain why you hate e107 and if there is a better alternative to what i am trying to accomplish please let me know.

thanks

Woah, they've upgraded. e107 used to be HORRIBLE.

They still haven't figured out the concept of subdomains though. e107.org should have subdomains for the different modules like coders.e107.org, styles.e107.org, etc., not e107coders.org and e107styles.org, etc.
