I was just checking out www.peerflix.com and if you sign up (they don't require a credit card) they give you a free DVD. It's not advertised on the home page but look in the bottom right corner of the "How It Works" page on their site, it says:

This looks like a very cool service and great way to get new DVDs cheap and easy.
