Hi I was browsing through my Sisoft Sandra information for my OS and it said:

Kernel Type: Multiprocessor Free

Does that mean it's not using the multiprocessors that I have installed? Or does that mean something else? Thanks.

If you have a dual processor setup you must be running Windows 2000. If not, you're not taking advantage of the second processor. If you are running Windows 2000 then I wouldn't worry about what Sis Sandra says. Windows 2000 and NT are the only Microsoft operating systems that make use of multi-processor setups, that is until Windows XP comes out.

I believe it means that there's no limit to the number of processors you can use. (ie. you're not locked into only 2). You can check to be sure you are running on both procs by going to the task manager, and check out the performance tab. You should see two different graphs there for CPU, and one for memory.
