SiS658 Abit Review...
All I can say is what a crappy review.....
1) Tons of errors throughout the article with wrong bars being colored....
2)Talks of pc1200 being tested and even showed in test setup yet no pc1200 in any of the tests...
Overall it doens't perform better then the i850e with the same pc1066 so until we see PC1200 tested and not be dazzled by known synthetic benches that show high performance based on bandwidth numbers but in real world apps don't equqte...
Rdram fans may want to correct his timeline for rdram improvements as he shows nothing above pc1066 for the next 2 years...Iknwo I have heard of some fast stuff coming down the pipe soon..The only factor will there be anyone to support it with chipsets and boards...In the tough economic climate these manfacturers have to spend RD and fab space on things that are selling and not the niche market rdram is quickly being reduced to...
