SIS 8x cards??

Any input on the SIS 8x cards?? xebre 400 or 600 i do not know much about them and am waiting for the FX cards to come out, wanted to try one for giggles and grins??? getting an Asus A7N8X mobo so it will be 8X!!

The Xabre is a good attempt from SiS, considering their previous attempts. The 3D quality isn't upto par with NVidia or ATI, but once the Turbo Texture setting is changed in the registry, things improve. Performance takes a beating though. I expected the Xabre 600 to perform better then what the benchmarks stated, hopefully things will improve with future driver releases.

just get a radeon 9000 or an 8500.
