Does anybody know when any of the major players are gonna realease a mobo using this chipset? I've seen that it unseats the 760 as the top chipset, and was looking forward to either getting this or the nVidia one

The same was said about the KT266 chipset just a couple of months ago, and I think a lot of peeps are regretting now that they followed the hype. Nevertheless, we all will try the newcomers, always hoping to find the ultimate mobo.

This chipset will ROCK! Not only will the performance be really good, but the price will be affordable. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Before the release of KT266, there were reports that it would perform poorly and others speculate that it might be able to deliver performance equivalent to 760 (when the KT266 was close to being released). The KT266 board I have is definitely on par with 760 boards. A friend of mine has the A7M266 and we both get the same performance in real world performance.
