SIS 6326 video card does NOT work with Diablo 2.. need some help.

My brother who has Diable 2, is in Taiwan. I can't really help him much from here. I told him to update the driver, but does not help the problem. The problem which he described, is when he enters the game, the screen starts to flicking ..... .. flicking.
Any ideas?

Maybe it has something todo with refresh rate in the resolution mode Diablo work, try to lowering the refresh rate.
IMO, flickering = wrong refresh rate (cmiiw)
