Look at the date ... SiS 6326 first came out in 1997. Need I say more? There has been a tiny little bit of progress in the area of 3D graphics technology since ...
its not just 3d that it is slow at, i can barely watch any divx movie with acceptable speed. can you stand slow motion picture? I get very poor score in 3dbench too like 3dmark2001, with a measly 297?? while onboard Trident VGA is like 1906, same processor. This crap should be called Turtle VGA APG 1x LOL!!! not Accelerated in anyway. I am looking for anything at least 50 percent faster, I don't need something super super fast, just something that is good enough for light gaming and movies also, it is not using any IRQ.
Well if that's an SiS 6326AGP not the 6326DVD flavor, then it doesn't have hardware MPEG decoders. The DVD flavor played DVDs flawlessly on Pentium-233 systems!
Let's do the thing justice, trying to run today's stuff on a six year old graphics solution that was low end when it first came out, and then complaining about the performance, isn't quite fair.
But maybe it's doing even worse than it could ... tried the latest drivers from www.sis.com?
