The fact they they are charging at all is a turn off for me. Pandora in 3G sounds better than XM in my car most of the time.

I use uSirius and Orb to stream Sirius from my PC to my iPhone. It works really well but of course it requires you to leave your PC on but hey, it's a free alternative than paying for an app.

Unfortunately uSirius was part of the Nicemac crew that got a cease and desist letter from SiriusXM. He has discontinued the product, so although it still works, as soon as SiriusXM updates their site (seems to happen every 2-3 months) it will stop. He removed all downloads from his site on the 8th.

Sirius/XM released the app today and guess what... it's not available to Canadian customers. What a surprise. :disgust:

Yep, no stern, no MLB and no NASCAR. Plus $3 extra a month = no thanks. Had they had both Stern and MLB available I would had gladly spent the extra $3/month.

No Stern = satellite radio not worth paying for. Honestly if Stern weren't on SiriusXM I would never keep paying for it.

Who wants to listen to old hoo hoo anyway. Frunkus. :p

Sigh. Remember when XMRO used to be free. I'm seriously considering cancelling my subscription at this point. It's hard to justify paying $14/mo just for Opie & Anthony.

I am a diehard Stern fan but I HAVE listened to O&A (as luck would have it I was listening to the show that got them fired and blackballed for years, and oddly enough remember Anthony going on the Stern show years ago as a superfan to do a Jackie impression). One thing I don't know - what is the origin of the "hoo hoo" nickname for Howard? I know they call him that, and I know they hate him, but what is the nickname itself based on?
