Sir, you drive an ugly truck

I like it...in fact I think its the best-looking compact pickup out there.

edit: but yes, the fleet version is ass-ugly!

Chevy's designers simply cannot make an attractive vehicle anymore. I blame it on corporate managers who are stuck more on the ideal of maintaining a flawed brand image than actually making and selling good cars.

As proof, these 2 cars (here and here) are both built on the same platform. Yet one is attractive while the Chevy is butt-ass fugly.

Mike, it's relevant because it's damn near impossible to buy anything in their line with a manual transmission. Even when you'd want one, like a pickup truck, or the mysterious (and completely unavailable at the time) 6 speed Camaros. Let's just say I had a few bad experiences trying to buy a car with the options I wanted from GM. The bottom line is you'd end up with a fugly truck and you couldn't even row your own!

I thought GM was going to keep the S10 around and use that as the fleet truck? Or am I thinking of Ford and the F150 "Classic"?

I was going to say "who cares" until I looked at it again. I have to say, if I saw one in real life I'd have nightmares about it.

"OHMYGAWD!!! THE FUGLY HEADLIGHTS ARE CHASING ME!!!!"

😀

It's not pretty. Something just "not right" about it. Like it was morphed with a subaru or something. I can't put a finger on it.

a: its the CHEAPEST model of that truck right there.
b: its not that bad, it is the wheels that make it look bad.
c: i dont think a consumer would buy it, gm made that model specifically for fleets.

MIKE

Agreed.

Chevy's corporate grille with the big bar that goes across the front is just ugly, and it ruins the front of most of their vehicles for me. The C6 is the only Chevy vehicle that looks good IMO.
