Anyone played this? looking through the IGN reviews it seems like the Time Manipulation Device is gimmicky, stuff like this kind of turns me off

"All of the explosives and time-manipulation in the world is no match for a small ledge or chain link fence. For that, you'll need a crate and that means you'll have to age one to splinters, slide it through gaps in 5 foot fences, and then revert it back to normal size to use as a step."

also only having a 6-10 hour campaign means this is for sure not a buy for me. I'll put it in my gamefly queue and maybe make a review for it when I get it in a month or so

I have a copy I'm selling for $39 if you want it. 😀

Oh, and it's pretty fun, I am just not into it and have a huge backlog of games to play.

It is a mix between Bioshock and Wolfenstein.

I don't like either, but I can't tell if it is bad or not yet. Not $50-$60 purchase material surely.

Just finished it on PC last night. I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely worth the $7.50 steam sale price. Reminded me a lot of Bioshock with some Half Life 2 thrown in.

I liked it on PC. It was fun, and a the plot line was more hard-edged than I thought it would be.

I would put it towards the 10 hour mark (maybe a bit more actually), but I like to explore eveything carefully when I play a game. I don't understand people who blast through good games just to finish them as quickly as possible.

I always assume I'm only going to play a game once, and I want to see everything if possible.

Singularity does have some replay value because of the different weapons, but I probably wouldn't play it again immediately. I used mostly just the machine gun and the autocannon.

Sungularity puts games like FEAR 2 to shame.

This game is decent. I'm playing it now on 360. I think I mentioned it in another thread, but it's a good "tweener" game to play while you are awaiting big name title releases...I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10. I'd call it a combination of Wolfenstein, maybe Timeshift and Bioshock.
