Anyone know of any modern single slot GPUs? Not getting any response here.
Particularly, I was hoping to see some lower end GTX 10-series cards in full length single slot config. The short double cards have there place, for limited systems, seems like single slot cards would have more audience.
The 1050s, and the 1060 could easily be single slot (75w and 120w TDP). The 150w TDP 1070 COULD be done, but it'd have to be not only full length, but tall as well. The old Radeon 4850s were 105w, and I have a FirePro that is 138w, single slot, full length, but not tall. So that is why I'm confident it can be done on a 1070 as well, if tall.
The seven slot Asus X99-WS board, with 7 1070s....drool... 🙂 As powerful as 5 1080s, but nothing out there can fit 5 double slot cards without fancy $100-each extension cables.
