Single slot alternative to 7600/7900GT? Need advice for purchase tomorrow

I'm going to buy a new vid card for a new SN27P2 that I got a sweet deal on, so I need a good single slot solution (I may want to use the PCI slot for my audigy 2). The ATI X1900GT is the only ATI card I can think of, and I don't want that, so that leaves me the 7600GT (really cheap at $130AR and can play current games decently) or the 7900GT (cost $100 more but better performance).

Is there anything that's single slot on the horizon (next month or two) that I should watch out for? DX10 cards will probably be dual slot with big power requirements, and I don't know how soon a single slot X1950XT derivant will be released.

Isnt the X1950 Pro coming in under two months or so ?

X1800XL is also single slot but if you don't want ATI then go for a 7900GT (if you want great 3D performance).

Get the 7900GT that has the heatsink that also covers the RAM too. I think it's a little better.

Also, don't forget about the vmod

Is the X1950 single slot? I thougth it was dual just like X1900XT(X). I'll probably end up just getting a 7900GT.
