Single slot 3870 any good? + Palit tech support?

Any thoughts? How about the HIS version? Do they use their own cooler?

Also, how is Palit tech support? I've never really heard much about them.

The cooler looks similar to those on the X800/850 series. As long as the GPU doesn't overheat and you have enough case cooling, I'd say the cooler should be sufficient.

Looks good, I have the HIS IceQ3 3850 and the cooler is great, it is not single slot however- I am sure it is the same on the 3870.

I think this version IS the single slot one...similar to the Sapphire 3870 Atomic, which is single-slot.

I ended up going with a Palit 8800GT since I already played a bit with a Diamond 3870 for a little while. The only ATI card I want right now is the 3870x2 but I really don't wanna spend so much on a vid card right now.
