There appears to be a "Sale" on 30 gig WD retail HD's
at Best buy, CompUSA, and Circuit City. $99.99 for the
retail box. On the surface this appears to be a good
deal. Looking at the WD web site, these are the new single
platter HD's, 5400 rpm, 2 gig cache.
Storage Review has reviewed the 60 gig (2 platters) and
says the performance is very good and the drives are very
quiet. Anyone had any experience with the 30 gig ones???
