Single Modem Setup.

😕I've just installed a Linksys BEFSR41 Router/Switch. I have all 4 of my computers
now talking and sharing files. The one thing I have not been able to get working is the use
of one moden on my main machine with the 3 satillite machines. Each machine has a modem
dedicated to that machine. Do I have to removed the moden and the internal software for
this to function so that the 3 other machines will use the modem of the main machine.

Could use some suggestions,

The Router part of a Cable/DSL Modem Routes only Ethernet compatible signal that comes through the Router?s WAN port.

If you have Internal Modems (or non Ethernet external) in your computers, they can not be Routed via your Router.
