Singing Monitor

When I sing along with "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" something funky happens with my monitor frequency. Every time I get to the weeehhhhehe waaa wheeeehehee part it starts shaking like crazy. I guess my singing isn't that great.

Whenever I play Beethoven's 5th really loud it makes my monitor screen ripple on certain notes

I think it looks cool but I have no idea if it causes permanent damage

Your monitor is probably scanning at 60Hz (regardless of your settings).

The other way to tell is to eat something crunchy while watching your tube...it looks like it's jumping around and tearing up.

Some video card drivers give you a "Monitor Setup" screen AND a "Display Setup" screen, check that your "Screen Refresh" and "Maximum Refresh" are properly set in their respective setup screens.
