Went to doctor. Had ears "irrigated".

Have gone from being able to hear everything fish-tank-ish to being able to hear SUPER SUPER CLEAR like never before. And everything's louder too. It's actually too loud. It's like someone turned up the volume knob on my life. Freaky.

I can hear the carpet sink under my feet. I can hear the texture of the steering wheel as I'm making a turn.

I grabbed a Tim Horton's paper bag on my way back (had a doughnut in it) and I jumped out of my seat at the loud noise it made when it crumpled.

Just when I was getting used to the new volume level, I opened a can of Dr Pepper without preparing myself, nearly had a heart attack.

Anyway, I CAN HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR NOW!
