Since when do UPS 12V batteries list watts / cell now instead of Ah?

34W @ 15min-rate to 1.67V per cell @25C (77F)
8.5 Ah @ 20hr-rate to 1.75V per cell

My old batteries are 12V, 9Ah.
These are listed as watts/cell?

I know HR is for high rate, and those are meant for UPS systems.

I find this a really odd way to label a battery.

I just got a e-mail from them, they said it is 9Ah, but, looking at the pdf specs of the battery:
Ahbatter.png

So, who are they trying to fool here?

They are using the 20 hour rate, which is another common way to rate the batteries.

.450A X 20H = 9Ah

BTW, where did you get .450A from? That spec sheet above says 9. 00 A H /0. 350 @ 20H, so wouldn't .350A * 20H = 7Ah?

The image you posted shows 0.450 A for the 20 hour rate to 1.60 V/cell (bottom right cell).
