And how come no one has sued manufactures for misleading people to think flavored, vitamin enriched, piss colored water for making them fat? It irritates me that people think this stuff is water or tell me how healthy it is.

Aerated Flavored Water for example, the makers of FlavH20, are the worst offenders in my opinion. There FlavH2O Peach Flavor product contain the following: Mineral water, fructose, carbon dioxide, citric acid, malic acid, acesulfame potassium, aspartame (contains phenylanine), sodium citrate, potassium sorbate, and "flavor".

What kind of damn water is this? I believe after altering the composition of water to a certain extents bars the term "Water" or "H20" from its label.

80 cals worth. Vitamin water has upwards of 120 I think. Though the bottle is so big the split the serving size into two. Like you're only going to drink half the bottle...

sobe lifewater has 0 calories and taste pretty good (strawberry dragon fruit anyway) I agree tho that companies selling water with more, or as many, calories and sugar than pop is stupid. But it's really not all that hard to read the label and make a decision like a big kid. Fucking people are too used to getting their hands held and blaming everyone else for their problems. If you're too fucking stupid to figure it out you deserve whatever happens as a result of your stupidity.

I've always thought that bottled water tasted worse than tap water and most of the time I'm told I'm weird for thinking this. I still don't understand buying 16oz of water for a dollar when I can go to the tap and get it of 2 cents. I've recently tried to start drinking more water (filtered from our fridge), but it tastes like plastic. I don't want to go with those fructose waters OP ranted about either. Anyone have a suggestion for some decent tasting water?

Bottled water for a dollar is um... necessary. This only happens when you are in a situation where you can not get water for cheaper, like you're on vacation or in the middle of nowhere.

Otherwise, a 24-pack of Poland Spring will cost anywhere between $3 and $4. That's between 12 and 18 cents each.

They add stuff to water. This affects the purity of the water slightly, but by no means is 100% H2O down to 98-99% H2O doing anything to affect the purpose of drinking the water.

I was actually amazed when I noticed on a coworkers water bottle during lunch "Purified Water" and in the fine print, there were 5 or 6 ingredients. This thread reminds me - I need to pick up a couple dozen cases of water for school. A couple of the classrooms hit around 90 degrees yesterday, with high humidity. It helps to have something like that available for the students.

check out sobe lifewater, 0 calories and most of it taste good. it's flavored and I wouldn't substuit it for water but having one every now and then should be ok.

I like seltzer water, both flavored and plain. Gerolsteiner is my plain choice, though Perrier is good too. I'm not a big fan of Italian waters. For flavored, I like Strathmore from Scotland, but I haven't seen it in the states for quite awhile. The really cheap brands from the grocery store are pretty good. That's what I generally get for flavored seltzer.

I've been experimenting with using extracts in water. So far I've tried peppermint, and lemon, and I've been pleased with the results. For peppermint, use 1/4tsp per liter. For lemon, 3/8tsp per liter is a bit better imo. My next attempt will be anise water :^)

You crazy. Water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen and it's a is a tasteless, odorless liquid. The stuff you drink is not water. It's chemical composition has been changed . I do not care if it quenches your thirst just the same if not better than water. Scientifically and in any form of rationality, it is not WATER.

These are not trace amounts of substances (like iodine or phosphorus) and they specifically added these components to alter it's image, taste, and perception.

You were able to read the label, what is preventing others from doing the same?

I am dumbfounded by the idea that anyone would think a legitimate lawsuit could be file over something like this.
