Since when did Fedex deliver on sundays?...

I didn't expect it... One of the packages that never came on thursday due to adverse weather was just delivered today by a Fedex person in a white van (not the regular fedex trucks, just a white van)... While there was still snow on the road... on a sunday...

Since when did they do this?

Sometimes you get really good supervisors in your area.

I've had it happen w/ FedEx, UPS and believe it or not, even the USPS!!! (I remember a couple Christmases ago a knock at our door & a couple of packages put on our doorstep CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!!).

That's cool they did that for you!!

only due to the weather i would think

it isn't like they would work sunday for no reason at all

Well if you've had bad weather in your area that kept them from delivering it on time than maybe they've gotten back logged and are trying to catch up. I wouldn't complain.

FedEx uses a lot of non-employee subcontractors to deliver for them.
These guys get paid on a per-package basis, the more they get out, the more they make.
This driver was most likely trying to make up for some deliveries he lost out on during the bad weather.

my GF ordered something, it was supposed to be delivered on a Friday, they fvked up. But ended up delivering it to her on a Sunday. Weird...
