Since when did EB games stop accepting exchanges?

Went to EB to exchange ESPN NFL Football, which sucks btw. And the guy tells me that they no longer exchange opened merchandise. As a matter of fact, that was the only purpose I bought games from EB. Anyways, I guess I'll have to sell it on ebay or FS forum.

They had the no-exchange policy in place already when the "Matrix" console game was released this year. That's the earliest I heard about it.

I'm surprised they ever had it at all... I took advantage of it once... forget which game though... it really sucked.

I think they probably started doing it with console games when they started to be easier to crack, or ripping them became more prevalent. Haven't been able to exchange open PC games for forever because of that.

When you tried to return the greatest football game ever :( I love ESPN Football! And that's weird that they don't allow it anymore

Honestly, I didn't like how it was so arcade-like. Madden 04 is much more realistic, IMHO. Graphics and anymation in ESPN are awesome though.

That happened to me with Hitman 2. Wouldn't exchange it even though it refused to work on my
current system AND even though I purchased it before that policy went into effect.
