Since we have "Average Joe" how long you think till we see "Plain Jane"?

I don't watch average Joe, but as a guy I always feel kind bad for the concept of normal looking guys getting screwed over halfway through a season by calendar poseur boys....just wondering when the same will happen with the women if ever.....I wonder if a reverse type show would be as interesting... I think more guys would be inclined to watch if you had one guy trying it out with however many average women and then halfway through the season they brought on all hot women....

I doubt we'll ever see it.

If there's anything a woman cannot be in our society it's "plain," "average," or "ugly."

She can be dishonest, slutty, stupid, etc. but as long as she's hot it's all OK.

Plain jane would never work. We know a hot girl would never think about getting on with with of those average joe guys. But guys are different, even if it is plain jane the guy would still try to hit it. Not the same effect.

Exactly. As long as she's not too ugly, he's likely to take the first one that puts out.
 
We won't ever see a plain jane because men never claimed that looks don't matter.

I mean guys would still go after a plain jane, but given the choice, a guy isn't
going to try to make it seem like the decision is hard.

its women that make the comment that looks don't matter. Which is why this show's
concept is funny. Cause in the end, the hot girl wants the hot guy. And looks do matter.
 
OMG...I thought of this a looooooooong time ago.

But instead of countering Average Joe..it was actually to counter Joe Millionaire.

MY IDEA!!! heh.

But i think the only reason why this won't work.....is men don't care how "average" or "plain" a woman is...all he has to do is turn the lights off when he bangs her. You know? He wouldn't spend any time getting to know any of these women..he'll just pick the 'best looking" one out..and do her good and then leave her.

That's why i think it'd be a better idea if they did Plain Jane in "millionaire" style. Tell a bunch of guys that this woman they're going to meet is kinda plain...even a bit ugly. Then tell them that she's worth 80 billion dollars. Money > anything...for most men..me thinks.

::shrugs:: just my 2 cents.

yeah I also think it is so funny that many women claim that "looks don't matter" yet often times do the opposite and go with the good looking people.....still I wouldn't mind watching a show about a guy trying to hit it with a whole bunch of girl next door types and then try to get it on with a bunch of supermodels....sounds like quality TV
