Why don't the mods ban someone who deserves it, like lozer?

I agree with how the mods enforce some rules, but c'mon, banning a few members out of a large group who make fun of someone is like trying to plug a hole in a dam with chewing gum.

No offense intended to the Anandtech member Dam, or any other members whose names appear in this post. All mentions of any members, except Dam in the previous sentence, are merely coincedental.

I am the moderator who locked Nik's account.

I took offense to his attack on Paulson because Nik's post was not a flame in response to a flame or in response to a rude action by a member that reasonably called for a good roasting. It was an attack that could have hurt Paulson's feelings for no reason whatsoever. Awhile ago, we made it quite clear that we would not permit starting new threads with the single purpose of picking on another member.

I have emailed him about the reasons and left the door open for his reply. Whether he returns will depend on what he says. I will now lock this thread.
