This article compares the Lance EVO VII vs. the Impreza WRX STi <you cannot get this model in the States right now!>

They say the WRX STi does the 1/4mi in 13.29s while the EVO VII in 12.9s <stock>

Not bad if you ask me, plus they handle amazingly too.

BTW, I did not post this to start a flame war, so let's try not to start one. I just mentioned it since there was talk about it earlier. We do not get either of these cars in North America right now so there's no use in comparing them to F-bodies, Muscle cars, etc..

 
Mmm evo7... *drool* 🙂

I'd personally go for the evo since the 4g63 engine is built like a rock and has a closed deck design, which can support more hp compared to the wrx's semi-closed deck design. Of course the evo7 looks better too 😀
