Sin the game too dark

Hi all,
Any way to get this game lighter besides adjusted monitor. My ingame slider is at max. Any tweaks to the .cfg files or a good site for tweaking this old but good game??

try adjusting the gl_modulate and vid_gamma console commands.

try tweak3d.com, they have a lot of tweaks for quake2 engine games.
