sin 2 coming...

6 hour episodes for $20 each being the sequel to a mediocre original game released 7 years ago....I'll pass on this one.

Seems kinda strange...Sin 2 on the Source engine.

As much as I'd like to see the return of John Blade, I'm thinking they should do FAKK 3! I wonder how many polys Ritual can put into her behind with Source!

QFT. If they want $20 for SIX HOURS when they don't even have to buy shelf space, retail packaging, CD duplication, etc. they can blow me. Even if they had to buy all that stuff, $20 for 6 hours is a ripoff. HL2 ran me about 25 hours of playtime, and it cost $50, not $80.

Way overpriced, and the original was nothing special. Count me out.

Wow. You spent 25 hours beating HL2? Either you have a bad sense of time, or you're really bad at the game. That's 15ish hours, tops.

And your gripe about them not having to pay for shelf space etc is irrelevent. Valve sold HL2 online for $50 without the need for any of that as well.

I'm not saying SiN 2 will be a great game or anything, as nobody know anything about it yet other than that it will at some point exist. But I cracks me up anytime people bash something that don't know anything about yet. Personally, I find the idea of an episodic game to be quite interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Fvck that. I'm all for paying for games, i loved steam and MMOGs, but $20 for UP TO 6 hours of gaming? If it was $10, i would definitely buy them. You'd think that without the need for a publisher, distributor, and packaging, that games will be cheaper.
