My roommate and I are big fans of the Simpsons, have been since the early '90s, and we can't wait either. I'm glad the cast came together for a movie, should be good.

They've been holding all the funny material from the show to save up for a movie, kind of like a bank account, for the last ten years. They finally came up with enough to pay for a full-length movie.

could this have come out at a worse time? i've been a huge fan since day 1 of the simpsons but even i'm getting tired of the show...it has really gone downhill. now they release a movie at possibly the lowest popularity period in 15+ years? yikes
