I turned aging off on my sims. They become elder in 7 days and I want to keep them adults longer. They had a baby, and even with aging off the baby was still born. Now though, I don't think the youngster is going to turn into a todler with aging off. Am I correct about this, or do I just need to be patient.

If I were to turn aging on, how many days would it take for the baby to become a todler? I can't select him to see like I could any other person. If I do need to do this, I hope it happens before 7 days and I can turn aging off again.

Too bad there isn't a way to make aging on for one person and off for another. The sims I started out with will be elders soon, but the one I asked to move in has 29 days, so if I let aging happen, I'll have a married couple one being an elder one being an adult, and the other couple will be elders with a baby.

I'm pretty sure that turning aging off means exactly that. They don't age regardless of how old they already are. It takes 3, maybe 4, days for babies to turn into toddlers. As for selecting the baby like the rest of the family, that's correct, you can't. Sims aren't selectable until they're toddlers. As for the Sim that is 29 days old, get them to platinum aspiration and use the elixir of life on them. I think you can pretty much keep Sims around forever with the elixir as long as you have enough aspiration points to keep buying the elixirs.
