It's been a few years since I played the Sims 2, but I had some saved games on my memory stick, and I recently dug the game out of storage and decided to reinstall the game on my new computer.
My question is:
I previously had the core game, Sims 2 University, and "Happy Holiday Stuff". I had saved the game with those 3 expansions. I can't seem to find my "Happy Holiday Stuff" pack, so if I try to play this saved game I had a few years back, will it work, or must I have the "Happy Holiday stuff" for the saved game to work correctly?
Along those same lines, is there a difference between the "Stuff" packs and the "expansion packs"? What if I had wanted to play the core game but without the University expansion pack? Will this saved game work if I don't install the University pack? Just curious about that (I actually do enjoy University a bit more than the core game)...
