So I know its "cool" to trash the simpsons and say how much better it used to be, but has anyone actually been watching this season (with an open mind)? I think its the best its been in YEARS, the past two weeks in particular have been hilarious. The funniest shows in the 'Animation Domination' block, and its been awhile since you could say that.

Anyone agree? Homer's todo list last week was great.
 
I watched the one tonight, and it was really boring... the jokes aren't funny, it was one of the worst Simpsons episode I have seen...
 
My diagnosis: You watched it thinking "man the simpsons suck. this episode is going to suck. why do they still show this?" and thus you did NOT watch it with an open mind like I stated as a precondition. If you go into something wanting it to suck and looking for things you don't like, you won't enjoy it.
 
Actually no, I have never once said the new Simpsons suck (I haven't been home to watch a new Simpsons episode for almost 2 yrs)... I have always loved the re-runs of old episodes, and tonight I had a chance to catch one of the new ones...

Seriously, it was boring, the jokes werent funny at all...
