Simpsons & the Amish

I don't know about you guys but I LMAO when I saw the Amish barn raising on the Simpsons tonight! Does anyone know if the Amish have made it into other episodes? If so which ones?

I grew up in it so I find it esp hilarious when they make television... Kinda ironic that they wanted a simple lifestyle so they wouldn't have to deal with the "world" and now they've become and object of fascination by people all over!

A group of friends and I just got back from a road trip to Lancaster, PA, and one of the guys really only wanted to see the Amish people. Our trip went to NYC and Atlantic City, but his big thing he had to do was to see them.

I didn't see the episode but I'm sure I know someone who taped it and I can watch it then.

there was an episode where homer was reflecting on a vacation to amish country.
in the flashback he was messing w/ an amish person and saying something like, "I can be a jerk and they can do anything about it". right after that the amish dude's horse kicks homer off screen.
and then of course there's the time homer tried to build a pool that "jet" mentioned.

'Tis a fine barn, but 'tis no pool, English - Amish guy said that when the Simpsons get a pool.
"Doah-ith!" said Homer, right afterward.

I am posting from the heart of amish country right now. Trust me, if you live here, they are not as interesting! The movie "kingpin" has some great amish material!

"Got up early to milk the cow, took a wile but I got a whole bucket full"
"Um....we don't have a cow,......we have a bull!"

It was funny when Homer made the crack about the worthless Mennonites and showed them playing craps too!
