Even though I aint into the series? Granted if I am flipping through the channels and its on I watch it. But I don't sit in front of the TV 10 mins before its suppost to come on(which I don't even know what times it comes on). Anyway is the game worth it on PC? The preview on TV it looks like it could be fun.

it's ok. The controls are weird and i needed to adjust to the NON moving camera. You gotta manually change camera angles. I wish they would made the camera change angles with the mouse like it does with VICE CITY.

Graphics are good but nothing to write home about.

FULL install is 2 GIGs. OUCH!

Sid, there is mouse-look, for when you're outside at least. Indoors, it is fixed camera positions.

As Sid said, graphics are OK, nothing special (but then it is based on a cartoon, not gonna have life-life graphics ;)) and controls are a bit weird, yeah!

Having a tough time with the "mouse look" option, it's jumpy as hell. While the graphics aren't the best, they do the job. I'm not far at all into the game, but I'm a huge Simpsons fan. So I give it a big thumbs up, 30 bucks you can't beat that!

anyone else having problems with the mouse look turned on? it seems like a pain in the arse, but I can't figure a better way to control the camera.

I played this on the Gamecube and I instantly loved it. Granted, I am a huge Simpsons fan.

It's pretty much GTA, Simpsons style.

Pick up a PS2 controller and the USB -> Playstation adapter for computers to play any game ported from console. The controller works perfect without having to install drivers (in XP) for all the console games I've played perfectly. It's true that the mouse/keyboard combination is the best controller, but when developers don't have the foresight to redesign the controls for porting to PC, this is the perfect controller for these games. I used this for Midnight Club 2, Return of the King, Hit and Run, etc.

A lot of the charm of this game comes from the fact that most , if not all, of the humor in this game is inside jokes from the show. It might get to be a bit repetitive for non-Simpsons fans, since most of the missions don't differ much from each other, like they do in GTA3 and VC.

Has anybody actually beaten it? I just spent about an hour on (I think) the last mission (it won't let me skip). This game has gotten so frustrating that I really regret telling my aunt to get it for christmas.

I'm a big fan of the series, and i thought the game was fun. I couldn't use my controller though, i just had no control when i was driving. But then again, i don't use my controller very often (that was the first time in over a year i think!).

Yeah I love the series (well, not particularly the last few seasons) so I was hyped up by all the positive reviews (gullible me). I got really bored, though, after beating the first level. There are maybe 4 missions that are just rehashed. What really piss me off are the jumping puzzles and the need to buy stuff by finding all those coins. The vehicle controls are passable, but the character controls are horribly frustrating esp. in later levels. I would recommend avoiding this pos until it's in the bargain bin, then you can enjoy the novelty for a while.
