being an avid Simpsons fan I would have to say the first season they were working out the kinKs, even though the episode where bart gets an army to fight nelson with waterballoons is one of my favorites.

Anyway I would wait until the 5th or 6th season for some great episodes.

The first season has the Call of the Simpsons when they get a camper and go out in the woods and it is a classic. I even have an original animation cel of Homer from that episode!

I don't know what the price is at the B&M. The cheapest I found it online was a little less than $26.00, which led me to check the websites of the local stores (walmart, bestbuy, circuit city) to see what they were selling it for. Might be worth calling the local Wal-Mart to find out and post the info here.

Im a huge simpsons fan but the first season really had clunkers. So this dvd set is really for the super duper fans only. I bought it but I didnt even watch the episodes by themselves. I watched them all with the commentaries on and that is what makes this worth it. I love commentaries and its really interesting to hear what these guys have to say.

Its just a shame it will take so long to get to the good seasons on dvd (season 5).
