SimplyCells.com - Need Input

First, let me explain my situation... I'm looking into getting a family plan with 2 phones. Looks like Cingular is the best option in my location (South Central Texas). They seem to have the best coverage here. T-Mobile and Nextel don't offer service here. Verizon does, but the coverage doesn't look as extensive here. Sprint (I know they merged with Nextel) was interesting until I saw how the "unlimited roaming" is only unlimited so long as you don't use it for more than half your air time, which is a problem because I'd be roaming from home.

So I'm currently looking at the $69.99/month family plan from Cingular. Looks like Simply Cells has some good deals. I'm leaning towards the Sony Ericsson z520a. Pay $50 up front for each phone, then supposedly you get a total of $200 back via 2 rebates over the next 6 - 9 months.

Has anyone here used SimplyCells? If so, how was your experience? Also, how about the rebates?

If you can recommend something better, I'm open to options.

Thanks! 🙂

Edit: Phone Requirements

- Bluetooth
- Very good call quality
- Good antenna/reception
- Compact
- Good battery life
- Above average screen

the z520a is a good solid choice for a phone...

I would shop around for a few more weeks...holiday deals are starting to show up and Cingular has a few new phones coming out which will drop prices on the current line.

I just picked a treo 650 for around $140 yesterday...🙂

I've never tried SimplyCells...

Thanks for the input. 🙂
As far as phones go, I don't require the latest and greatest. I won't be using it for data access or anything fancy. I was originally thinking of just going with one of the totally free phones, but I'd like to have bluetooth so I could use a headset. The phone needs to have a good antenna and good sound quality. Don't want people to sound like Darth Vader. 😉

I used a z520i for a few weeks before I destroyed it...🙁

It really is a nice phone a SE has a nice user interface...

Now I hope I can find a new screen for mine and perform a little surgery🙂
