BONZAI!!!!!!! i didnt find its best feature in the description... it has built in DATA THEIF PROTECTION, it works by cutting USB2.0 transfer speed by more than half!! ... no one will want to wait and wait to steal your info off this drive... this drive is SLOW!!

Title is misleading. Please put 11.00 shipped after 20.00 MIR in the title. It's a nice courtesy to the others reading the threads.

i know i thought it was $11 straight up.
so this is really slow? i am looking for a cheap stick to try ReadyBoost in vista, but then with 2GB RAM i doubt it will help much

please people, do not go for it or atleast look at some updates or solution for it. this drive is very slow. think about usb 1.1 transfer speeds named a usb 2.0.

took me over 15 mins to fill up the drive with 300mb episodes of tvshows.

Newegg Review
Cheap, fast, works with windows readyboost. Some folks need to check their computers bios to make sure that usb 2.0 is enabled before they spout off about how slow this flash drive is. Mine has two settings, high speed and full speed. The full speed is usb 2.0. You might think it would be high speed, but it isnt. So, before you write a review on how slow this pen drive is...check your bios.

Seems probable.

I have a 2gig Kingston(Data Traveler), with 2gig of ram and it does make a difference. Not a lot, but enough to notice. Things start a bit quicker and things seem just a bit snappier.

If this works(at someone, at the below site, did list it as working) with ReadyBoost, then it's a heck of a deal.

FYI, a list is being compiled here, of devices that work and don't work with ReadyBoost(as reported by users/owners): http://www.grantgibson.co.uk/misc/readyboost/

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY OF THESE! slow, slow, slow. A complete waste of money. I got some for free with rebates, and have been trying to give them away. Totally worthless.

It took me 1 1/2 hours to delete 200 megs off my 1 gig unit.
Have not totally got into the details and debugging but so far iIts stunningly slow.

Many of these drives are ridiculously slow. I was able to RMA mine and the replacement is very good. Not sure it's worth the hassle.

I have a pack of two 1GB USB drives from Simpletech. One is ok, the writing speed is not as fast as Kingston but it's about same as PNY 1GB drive and ACP-EP 2GB drives. The other one is extremely slow, takes more than 4 times to copy same amount of files. It's over 8 minutes to copy 92 mp3 file, file size is about 280MB.
