I got one of these last week when QVC was running a everything for 5 payments option.

I expected it to contain the cheapest , slowest drive on the market. Instead it contains a Hitachi E7K1000, with a production date of Feb/2009.

The Hitachi E7K1000 ,sells for $135 by itself , for $121 you get an external enclosure and the drive.

I'm taking it out and putting it in a pc, shame to have that drive bound to a USB interface.
