Simpletech 1 TB drive for Tivo Series 3 HD?

Any SATA drive should work with a Series 3 Tivo, but only a handful are "certified". What I would be concerned about would be the raid functionality of that device, that's something I can't answer from experience, but my assumption would be that it won't work. If it were a normal SATA drive no problem, a Raid drive and I think you will have issues. Also FYI nothing but the WD DVR drive will work with a Tivo HD.
 
People have gotten hardware RAID setups to work, IIRC. You could check the Tivo Community forums, though, there's probably a thread or two on it already. 😉
