simple win xp pro networking question

Hi everyone,

A quick question about networking in windows XP Pro. I'm currently in college and share some of my files on the network. I used to run ME, where it was pretty easy to password protect stuff. But I'm having trouble finding a similar option in XP. Does anyone have any hints?

All you do in XP is set permissions on each folder. Right click the folder, go to properties and click on the sharing tab.
