Simple voice recording program?

I'm doing a presentation, and would like to practice how my speech sounds like.

Is there a voice recording program built into WinXP?

If not, recommend a (free) simple voice recording program?

Windows Media Encoder 9 Series is also available, a freebie download from Microsoft.com. It can capture audio, video, or both, including screen capture.
