simple router for xbox live

I've had a piece of shit netgear router forever. Lately I keep getting disconnected from xbox live. When I perform a test it says I can connect to live but that's all. It brings up my NAT being strict. I used to able to add the xbox under the address reservation. Recently I moved the xbox across the room and have had problems since. I haven't changed anything but the location of the xbox. It connected wirelessly then as it does now.

When I go to setup the xbox a reservation in my router settings it's not longer showing up under the address reservation table. I have no idea why.

I'm looking for a solution or a new router that will come out-of-the-box open NAT. Netgear can get fucked.

Xbox supported devices list. Pick a name and see which ones are available in your price range.

Note: Always ensure UPnP is enabled on your router, this will eliminate many network issues with XBLive.

I would recommend any of these: Linksys, Dlink, Netgear, or Asus. Those are the ones I've tried and worked. I steer clear of Buffalo because I got burned 🙁
