After a power outage rendered my motherboard, a UT LANparty nF3 250gb, unable to recognize internet connections or microphone input, I sent it to DFI under warranty. As I understand it, they are repairing my motherboard, not sending me a new one.
Will I need to reformat my hard drive and reinstall my OS? Or should I be able to just plug it in and continue using it as if I never took it out in the first place? If I can avoid reformatting, I would love it.
