After upgrading the BIOS I have the ability to set the multiplier to 13.5. This means that I can use a Tbird at 1.35GHz? Or that I can make it run at let's say 1404MHz by setting the bus at 104?
Thanks in advance.

Yep. I have the same motherboard. I just upgraded the bios to 2.6 and noticed that it remapped my multipliers from 7-12.5 to 11-15. Because of this I am running my 1ghz at 1144 (lowest multiplier times 104 fsb). Did this happen to you to? What bios revision did you try?

I have used the 2.5 BIOS, which is giving me a 13.5 multiplier. I haven't tried overclocking or a faster CPU yet, as my Duron 700 is handling everything perfectly. I am concerned about the "upgradability" of my system. I knew/assumed that the most I could reach was the 1.2GHz-1.35 Tbird. So, the newest BIOS revision reaches a 15X multiplier??? This is the best news I could have :D
15*100=1500! [does it mean that it can support the new Palomino?!?!]

I just updated the BIOS and the multiplier stays at 13.5 tops. Are you sure that you had a 15X option?

Yah, I am positive about the multipliers. When I updated the bios the only 2.6 available was in from the german site. It was linked here. So if you downloaded an english version maybe they fixed it. Or maybe my it didn't work as well as I thought.

About Palomino. The lowest voltage setting is 1.55 still, so unless you want your A4 to run as hot as current tbirds I wouldn't suggest it.
