Simple question about wireless networking

... This is my first step into wireless networking world. I've decided to change my network from wired to wireless (11 mbps):

Wireless Access Point (Linksys) connected to one of the workstations, 1 laptop, server and printer. I can browse internet just fine on all the machines, but when I try to access server files or printer it won't let me, even though it does show them available on the network. What have I done wrong or what can I do? Should I connect wireless access point to server? Do I need to buy print server, or can I just use it through access point.

If you can help or maybe point to some place where I can find info, I would be very thankful.

Welcome to AT Network Forum.

I am not sure that your problem is Wireless it seems to be a matter of setting the sharing correctly on the computer that you call server.

However it is hard to give you an answer since it is not clear from your post how your system is configured.

Is it peer to peer or you having a real server?

What OSs are installed?

How do you Route the Internet?
