Considering how rapidly computer technology is changing do you think I should wait just a little more before buying my rig? Is something new coming out with a month or so which would lower prices or something? If so can you tell me what it is?
 
Technology is always going to be rapidly changing. It's all relative. For me, once I get to the point where I'm annoyed at the computer -- skipping in games, general slowness-- I ugrade. Also, when you upgrade, don't go checking prices a few months later because you'll just want to kick yourself. Upgrade to what you think you'll need and be happy.
 
Yeah like Machine said. If you need a upgrade now then do so. I don't know if there is a perfect time to upgrade. Within 3-6 months after upgrading your gonna look at new prices on the stuff you just bought and want to kick yourself in the n#ts for upgrading. Thats just how it works when dealing with PC stuff.
