I'm in a very contemplative mood this morning. The following are some of the simple things that really make Ned a happy boy:

I like holding Mrs. Ned right after she wakes up, while she's still warm, soft, and sleepy.

I like getting a whole night of uninterrupted sleep and waking up feeling rested.

I like when my dog snuggles up against my feet, or puts her head in my lap.

I like a cold cream soda, enjoyed in the sun on my back porch. If it has a little rum mixed in it, its even better.

I like how my body looks immediately after a hard workout at the gym.

I like a good exhausting bicycle ride.

I like spending quality time with my sister and her family.



<sigh> it was a really good weekend.

Sorry, I started this thread first thing this morning, back when I was still groggy and happy. Now that I've had time enough to get back to hating life, work, bad drivers, etc., I'll get back to posting as usual. Thanks for your patience, guys. And I'm not gay.
 
I like working in the yard, tending to the gardens, and watching things grow in general.
The list of things I'm grateful for is miles long.
I'm just glad to be sucking air right now. 🙂

Having a full fridge with my favorite foods
laying on top of my man while watching tv
driving on a warm summer day with the top and doors off our jeep
a good BBQed steak on a cool evening
being able to have the ones i love most around me

Waking up to my gf and holding each other and just being together.

That's a good one. Unfortunately I snore sometimes so she isn't always happy when I wake up.😱


I love leaving work and stepping outside into a perfect 65 degree F evening with no humidity and slight breeze. So comfortable and serene.

I love waking up early on a Saturday morning and realizing that I don't have to work and then falling back asleep.

I love the sense of accomplishment after getting something done around the house or at work.
 
In my life there is only work and pain.All pleasure and sentimentality was purged from my body by my strict upbringing.

Thought of another one. The smell of cut grass in the morning reminds me of summer breaks from school when I was a kid. It always takes me back to my childhood.
