Ok here's the deal;
I have a 4 port router and a hub
1 win2k DC running DHCP and DNS and a print device is connected to it, 1 win2k server running various web stuff
3 win2k pro systems
and an additional networkable printer
If I connect a client to the hub which is connected to the router through a patch cable it cannot reach the DHCP server for an IP address, what is it that I need to configure? If I connect the networked printer on the hub will I have any problems (and I assuming I will be using a static IP for the print device but I'm not sure how that will work with a hub and a system that has a dynamic IP.
Any help or suggestions?
